The objective of this procedure is to slim and reshape specific areas of your body by removing excess fat deposits, improving and harmonizing your body contours.

This procedure is designed to treat those areas of your body where fat deposits accumulate (rolls around the waist), and cannot be eliminated in spite of intense dieting and exercise. In men, these deposits create the classic “love handles” ( rolls around the waist like a “life saver”).

These deposits are also found on the abdomen, on the pectorals imitating the female breast and also under the chin. In women, these rebellious fat deposits are found on the abdomen, waist, buttocks, thighs, calves and ankles, back, arms and face.

Liposculture is NOT a treatment for obesity or celulite.

Liposculpture can be performed alone, but can also be combined with other procedures such as abdomenoplasty.

This procedure is performed in an operating room with local anaethesia, local with sedation or general. Small incisions are made depending on the areas to be treated, always when possible scars will be hidden in the body curves and are practically imperceptible (under the line of panty elastic, in the navel, etc.).

Methods available to remove the fat deposits:

Tumescent Liposuction. Is the traditional method and offers excellent results.

Ultrasonic Liposuction. Is a procedure which liquifies the fat deposits with Ultrasonic waves before vacuuming them. This method is indicated when there is sagging skin, since it helps to tighten excess skin if there is not too much.

Laser lipolisis. A laser beam through an optic fiber is used to dissolve the fat before vacuuming it.
