Autologous Fat Transplantation or Lipofilling

This procedure involves implanting fat and growth factors of the patient’s own body (Growth Factors and Mother Cells) to fill irregularities in areas of the body where tissues are missing or to enlarge the size of the buttocks. The fat is obtained from parts of the body where said fat is in excess; either by means of a special mini lipoaspiration or during a conventional lipoaspiration or liposuction, but performed with a specific technique.

This procedure has the enormous advantage that part of the patients own tissue is used, thereby eliminating all risk of rejection or allergies.
Approximately between 20% and 30% of the volume injected is reabsorbed, and the rest remains integrated into the area where it was implanted.

Lipofilling is a very safe method.
In the case of enlarging the volume of the buttocks, it is an extremely valid alternative. Even though it cannot match the size reached with silicone prostheses, it avoids the implanting of foreign prosthetic bodies.
